just the two of us

10 Oct

I see the crystal raindrops fall
And the beauty of it all

Is when the sun comes shining through
To make those rainbows in my mind

When I think of you some time
And I want to spend some time with you

Just the two of us
We can make it if we try

Just the two of us
Building castles in the sky

Just the two of us
You and I

We look for love, no time for tears
Wasted waters’s all that is

And it don’t make no flowers grow
Good things might come to those who wait

Not to those who wait too late
We got to go for all we know

.

The Shinkansen Art

18 Sep

Shinkansen Art ??

Maybe you never knew this word, because I’ve just made it 🙂

It all began when I have to pick up a call with my cell while I am taking Shinkansen for a business trip from Tokyo to Kyoto.

Here in Japan, it doesn’t allowed to speak/taking a call while you on board. People usually go to the junction deck just to pick up/make a call.

So I went to the junction dect to take the call. While I am taking my call, I look outside through the window. Since it’s night, I can’t see the scenery. But the image of neon light from the city, intrigue me. I imagine if these images are captured with a camera , it will form a unique expression of light trace that is  a chaotic yet beautiful . So I moved fast back to my seat after finishing the call, pick up my pocket camera and returned back to the junction deck to take some pictures.

So, here it is. A Shinkansen Art. The art that could only made while you’re on board in a Shinkansen, travelling with a speed of 300km/hour  🙂

World Heritage in Analog

20 Aug

When you have a chance to visit Kyoto, you can see a lot of beautiful shrine and temple.

Most of them have been built for more than 100 years, but they still have very good shape and look.

Some of them are the World Heritage, that is listed in UNESCO and acknowledged as an outstanding example of a type of building, architectural, or technological ensemble or landscape which illustrates a significant stage in human history.

Here are some of them. I will add more after I finish scanning the rest  🙂

Kamigamo Shrine, which is famous for it’s cone sand (tatesuna in Japanese)

Fushimi Inari, the most famous Inari-san in Kyoto. You don’ t want to miss this if you’re visiting Kyoto

Enryakuji complex, in the Mount Hiei  ( northeast Kyoto ). The complex is very large, and it takes a half day to go around it.

The same Enryaku Ji

Enryaku-Ji

Enma ( you write your wish in the wooden plate and hang like this ) in Enryaku-Ji

a toy can do photography ?

16 Aug

it’s a toy….

the camera is made from plastic…so is the lens

do not expect much from it….it’s a toy anyway, right ??

as long a i enjoy taking picture with this camera, i didn’t care about the result

……nor any photography theory when i am using this camera

the only satisfaction i get is only when i click the shutter button

forgive me if i am so selfish that i can not share this feeling to you…..

well……..at least i share the picture , right ????  🙂
